Each week, share new Bible reading Plans based around a particular theme in the Bible. The bible reading plans usually have daily scripture to read which is focused around that week's theme. You can encourage others to not only read the entire daily scripture, but also to read the surrounding scriptures, as well. This will not only help them in their Bible study, but it will encourage them to walk in the grace and peace of Christ within them. It will become their personal highway to walk into God's word. The bible reading plans can be broken down into trimester wise patterns. You may start by teaching yourself about the Old Testament and the new testament, the life of Jesus, and the coming kingdom of God. You may want to spend a few weeks learning about the Old Testament, while teaching yourself and others about the new testament and the life of Jesus. When you learn about each of these six months, you will have a good foundation to build off of. After you have worked through the Old Testament and New Testament, the next set of bible reading plans take a look at the fulfilled desires in each of these sections. You may find that after teaching yourself and others about each of these sections, you have more desires for the Lord. So, begin to add some new insight to your life by looking at your daily situations. How can you make changes so that you can fulfill your dreams? Can you start today by working on one or two things that you need to do in order to walk in God's promise and make a difference? Some Bible study teachers like to utilize a sequential method of teaching and learning. For this method, you would start with the Old Testament and go through the chapters in order. Or, you might begin with the New Testament and go through the chapters one by one. This way, you can learn and grow as a student of God's word. Of course, this method works best when using a bible reading plan rather than simply teaching our students on their own. The third area where you can use bible reading plans is with the parables found in the New Testament. Parables are similar to stories, and like stories, people can tell a long story with a simple piece of writing. We find parables in practically every chapter of the New Testament. So, you can begin to develop your own collection of parables as you read through the New Testament. As you can see, developing your own best bible reading plans can be a very important part of teaching your child. It allows you to be more effective as a student of God's word, and you can help grow in your role as a teacher of the gospel. If you want to get started teaching your child the right way to learn the Bible, you can begin with developing a good six month bible reading plan for yourself. As you implement this plan each month, you will find that you not only have an effective tool at your disposal, but also a great teaching tool as well!
